"After Minor Heat, the heat intensifies day by day." As the footsteps of Minor Heat creep in, summer unleashes its full intensity without reservation.
小暑有三候：“一候温风至；二候蟋蟀居宇；三候鹰始鸷 。”
The Minor Heat has three pentads: "First pentad: warm winds arrive; second pentad: crickets move into houses; third pentad: eagles begin to soar sharply."
温热的风，裹挟着暑气扑面而来，所到之处，皆是闷热的气息。林间的叶，被这温风抚过，轻轻颤动，似在诉说暑气的炽热。
Warm winds, carrying the heat of summer, come blowing; wherever they reach, a sweltering air prevails. Leaves in the woods, caressed by these winds, tremble gently, as if murmuring the intensity of the heat.
蟋蟀也难耐酷热，从田野离开，躲到庭院的墙角下，为夏夜奏响独特的乐章。而老鹰，在高空盘旋，借助清凉的气流，试图驱散周身暑气。
荷风送香气，竹露滴清响。池塘里，荷花在烈日下肆意绽放，粉白的花瓣，在碧绿荷叶的衬托下，显得格外娇艳。微风拂过，荷香悠悠飘散，让人瞬间沉醉。
The lotus breeze carries a fragrance, and dew drops from bamboo leaves with a clear tinkle. In the pond, lotus flowers bloom freely under the scorching sun; their pink and white petals, set off by the emerald green leaves, look especially delicate and charming. A gentle wind stirs, and the lotus scent drifts slowly, instantly enchanting all who smell it.
栀子花、白兰花、茉莉花也不甘示弱，纷纷吐露芬芳。白兰花小巧玲珑，散发着淡雅的清香；茉莉花洁白如雪，香气馥郁，弥漫在空气中，让人心旷神怡。
Gardenias, white orchids, and jasmine are not to be outdone, each releasing their fragrance in turn. The tiny white orchids exude a faint, elegant aroma; the jasmine, white as snow, spreads a rich scent through the air, bringing a sense of calm and joy to the heart.
夏日的雨，也别具一番风味。午后，天空突然乌云密布，电闪雷鸣。豆大的雨点倾盆而下，打在屋顶上、地面上，溅起层层水花。
Summer rains have a unique charm. In the afternoon, the sky suddenly darkens with dense clouds, followed by flashes of lightning and rolls of thunder. Raindrops as big as beans pour down, hitting the roof and ground, splashing layers of water.
雨后，空气格外清新，带着泥土和青草的芬芳。天边或许还会挂起一道绚丽的彩虹，引得孩子们欢呼雀跃。
After the rain, the air is exceptionally fresh, carrying the fragrance of soil and grass. Perhaps a brilliant rainbow will arch across the sky, making children cheer with joy.
